23 May - Birthday time

Today it’s my birthday!! I turned 21! The drinking age in many other places. Well since I live in Belgium its no big deal for me (no drinking age). About the only new thing I can do now is get a licencse to drive a motorcycle.

Last year I had a barbeque on my birthday, but this year the weather sucks for the first time ever on my birthday! Oh well, I won’t let it spoil the fun!

PHP 5 - Zend Certification Exam

I have always wanted to take the Zend Certification Exam, but so far I didn’t get myself to actually do it. The main reason for this is due to the fact that PHP 5 came out, and I was expecting a new ZC exam that would cover PHP 5.

Good news! I just read that the upgraded ZCE for PHP 5 is sheduled for July 26, 2006. Isn’t this great?! I wil be diving into my book PHP 5 Power programming (by Andi Gutmans, Stig Bakken, and Derick Rethans), and try to get my brain *pumped* and ready to go.

The ZCE for PHP 4 will be available for at least one more month after the launch of the new exam, and eventually the PHP 5 ZCE will completely replace the current (PHP 4) exam.
